“Parasite” is one of those Perfect movies, like “Searching For Bobby Fischer”, where you sit down there and watch it and after you’re done you feel like you just had a full, 3 course meal and the desert was delicious too.
The movie is masterfully paced, by well, the master himself Boon Joon Ho, with a plot that builds assuredly to a surprising conclusion.
I am surprised to find that this movie is currently unavailable on my favorite streaming service that is Netflix Malaysia. I have long accepted the fact that it was in fact impossible to have all your favorite movies offered to you by just one streaming service. But what was surprising was the fact that this movie is available on Astro instead. So if you have an Astro subscription with the movie bundle, you should be able to watch this on Astro GO.
The Academy gets it right this time, and I don’t have sit through a long snore fest by way of their recommendation. Parasite is a masterpiece.
